3. Submissions

A. An article may be submitted for possible publication in any magazine subsidiary in the following manner.

1. Send a short email message to strippett@eliteij.com describing the article you would like to publish.

2. If the editors respond by expressing interest in your article, please save the complete article in .docx or .pdf format and send it as an email to strippett@eliteij.com Please include your full name, contact information (address and telephone number to be used by the editors only), and a short bio.

3. Articles are sent to email address strippett@eliteij.com only on the condition that the author agrees to the terms of the Copyright Statement and Policy above.

4. Mobile Access

A. Mobile access of any magazine subsidiary can be viewed by most mobile devices. Some devices may not display the content on Elite Investigative Journal appropriately; this is not due to any design or technical issues with the digital trade journal. This is solely an issue with the mobile device(s) in question and any issues should be directed to the mobile provider or manufacturer of the mobile device.

5. Article Submittal

As a freelance contributor, if you have an article you would like to submit with us. Please carefully read over the terms and conditions listed in the next few paragraphs.

The quest for articles and investigative information.

Well, step one, please read over all of the information within the terms and conditions. For instances we publish articles pertaining to the investigative business, such as crime dramas, heroes, scientific DNA and auto forensics within the industry. We are in need of fact based stories that can capture the imagination of our readers, articles that covers relevant PAST legal issues (Sub-judice), we will fact check your submitted article. We are looking for “Vendor-neutral,” contributions, meaning we aren’t allowing any free company or product advertisements. You would have to consult with

When is the due date and how long should my article be?

We prefer short but to the point articles in the range 600 to 1000 words but if it is loner that that we can split the article into part one and part two etc. The main thing is to be factual, concise and brief. The cut off for submitting story/article is the 15th of the month. The issue will be released to the public on the 1st of the month, any article received after the 15th will be considered for the next month issue. Please let us know if your article has been published elsewhere.

What about artwork and photography?

All submission should be sent via electronic file, please save your article as a Word document and e-mail it as an attachment. Your document must be in 12 pt, Times New Roman font, double spaced, with a single space between each new paragraph. Please use your OWN images with links to the source. We don’t utilize unsolicited photo or artwork, send those as jpeg attachments, 2MB or smaller, and be sure you own or have links to all relevant rights and permissions sources. Please send all of this information to the email strippett@eliteij.com Please do not format your article by dropping any images into the document itself. We shall take care of any graphic arrangements. By all means, please send us your BEST work and be sure to double-check your sources. If you cite facts and statistics, please include the source you used. We reserved the right to edit your article, if it has been chosen for publication.

Sorry, we don’t pay for the submission of your article. BUT! You have a chance to get publish, to expose your ideas to people in the law enforcement and security trades on the national scale.
